Avraham Dovid MT Dinner

One of the essential foundations of Judaism is sharing with those who are less privileged. Unfortunately, many Jews, though not in distress from physical hunger, are hungry and yearning for meaning in life.

Authentic Judaism is the only way to achieve true serenity and peace of mind. Therefore, it is our obligation to help our fellow Jews attains genuine happiness by “feeding” them Torah knowledge, and providing them with information on the Jewish way of life.

The Avraham Dovid Mitzvah Tank, operated by Chabad of Flatbush, serves this purpose: It is a center of Judaism on wheels giving Jews a chance to put on Teffilin; giving out Shabbat candles, and spreading words of Torah to ignite the inherent spark inside each Jew.

This small “Mitzvah on the spot for people on the go” has the potential to transform the spiritual darkness of a Jewish family, and moreover the Jewish people at large, to the greatest light of all - the light of the true Redemption which has already began to unfold. All it takes is one Mitzvah to tip the scale and change the world for good, forever. The power is in our hands.

It's our continuity. It's our destiny. It's your merit. It's your duty. - Be a partner.

Avraham Dovid is the seventh child born to Rabbi Zalman and Chanie Liberov in 5760- 2000. Dovid grew up as a happy, joyous child, and a friend to all. Dovid encouraged his friends; he did not compete with them. He singlehandedly created the pencil gemach to help his classmates in need. This is proof of his most gentle nature. When playing a game, Dovid didn’t play to  win, but for the sheer fun of it. He made all smile when he sang and danced with his whole heart with his beautiful sweet voice. He lived the Rebbe’s words each day.

Dovid was taken from us before his 10th birthday in a horrific car accident in the winter of 5770-2010. Dovid lived as a true soldier in the Army of Hashem and his dedication to the “Commander – in – Chief” will always serve as a shining example to us all. We hope and pray to reunite with him speedily with the revelation of the Rebbe Melech HaMoshiach Now!
